Crown D75 amp

These units from the late 70’s / early 80’s are good quality “old school” analog amps designed for in-room recording studio use. They are rugged, decent sounding, dependable, compact(1U), very quiet both electrically and acoustically (no fan!), and have balanced inputs. They can be easily run in true bridged mode with a flick of a switch and will then crank out a solid and clean 100 watts or so.
Note that there is a later version, the D75A. It’s a cost down version with a black face, and loses the handy banana jacks and the easy to access brdge mode switch.
IMHO not nearly as good as the original silver and grey faced D75.

Key specs:
Power Bandwidth: 35 WPC (15.44 dBW), 20-20,000 Hz at less than 0.05% THD
S/N: 106 dB below full power (very quiet)

Crown D75 amp review.

I use a stack of them to power my atmos height and surround speakers, and also for my near field speakers on my computer system.
